Masjid Universiti, University Brunei Darussalam – Around 50 people attended a Doa Selamat and Tahlil Ceremony yesterday, held by CfBT Education Services (CfBT) in conjunction with its 40th anniversary. The event was an opportunity to express gratitude to the Ministry of Education for its 40 years of partnership with CfBT. The event also aimed to strengthen bonds within the community by bringing together current and past members.
Present were Yang Mulia Haji Awang Mohammad Eddie Hardy Bin Haji Awang Ibrahim, Ketua Kampong Panchor, Mukim Mentiri, welcomed by Dr Louise Pagden, the CEO of CfBT Education Services.
The ceremony began with the recital of Doa Selamat and Talil, led by Imam Abdul Muhaimin bin Dr Haji Serbini, Imam Masjid Universiti, UBD. This was followed by Sungkai (iftar) and Maghrib prayers. The highlight of the event was distribution of donations to the invited orphans. The ceremony continued with Isya and Tarawih prayers.
Also present were representatives from the Ministry of Education and CfBT staff members.
